What will you play?

Every game at TTRPGCon has someone at the table who knows it, loves it, and wants to teach it to you. No experience needed for any of them.

Game types

GMed games

A game master runs the world. You play a character in it. These are the classic tabletop RPGs: someone sets the scene, you decide what to do, dice decide what happens. Games include: Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and more announced closer to the event. Best for: Anyone who wants a guided adventure with a story that unfolds at the table.

GM-less Story Games

No game master. Everyone shares the storytelling. These games run on prompts, cards, and conversation. Some are funny, some are intense, all of them are surprising. Our facilitators will teach you the rules and get you started. Games include: Fiasco, Alice Is Missing, and more. Best for: People who love improv, creative writing, or just want to try something totally different.

Dungeon Crawlers

Board-game-meets-RPG. You're exploring a map, fighting monsters, and collecting loot, but with more story and teamwork than a typical board game. Our facilitators will walk you through everything. Games include: Massive Darkness, Nemesis, and more. Best for: Board gamers who want a taste of RPG without building a character from scratch.

Social Deduction Games

Hidden roles, secret agendas, and a lot of lying. If you've played Mafia or Werewolf, you know the vibe. This is the evolved version. Taught and run by our facilitators. Games include: Blood on the Clocktower. Best for: Groups, party game fans, and anyone who enjoys a good argument.

Other Games

We always have a few wild cards. Last year it was Gaslands (think Mad Max with toy cars). This year's surprises will be announced closer to August. All taught by facilitators.
